We'll use what we've got. If I learned anything from my experience on the front lines, it's that any effort is better than none and the only sure-fire way to lose is to give up.

[At least for everyone else anyway. Wally knows when it comes down to it, he'll be fighting or getting people out depending on which will help save more lives and won't bother too much with his own. He just figures it's a bit much to assume everyone else is going to be okay with that too.]
Dude, where have you been? Under a rock or something? It's a pretty well known cereal brand.

We should be pooling our resources and our knowledge to give ourselves a fighting chance at staying alive and finding a way back home. Winning someone else's war shouldn't be our first priority.

Dude, I'm still not seeing where this whole 'fighting chance' bit is even necessary. Did I miss some giant fight or struggle to get by at some point? So far it's just empty rooms and loads of free food. Not exactly roughing it unless you're like me and get bored really easy. Is there even any proof that there's even a war at all and it's not some crazy computer running a program that doesn't apply any more?
[Hardly a stretch in his experience, that. Still, it wasn't like he could really start putting out what that experience was either.
But speaking of wanting something more interesting to focus on...]
Wait, seriously? How long under an iceberg? Did they have you doing military drills in Antarctica or something?
